Make up - make me happy

Hello winter, hello pasty skin, hello new future foundation that can make me not fit in. Yes I do not want to fit in on this occasion - give me a tan, that ultra goddess glow and a mojito all year round pls. Trip to buy new makeup is a must when change of season. As usual, lusting over many products and testing all things creams, lipsticks & facial sprays - secretly visioning I’d be leaving the stall looking as done up to go on a date with Ryan Gosling, of course. Any who, back to my intention of that goddess vibe in winter.  What product was going to be my winner. Foundation comes in 101 bottles these days, and what a predicament I was in. Sat on the stool looking in the mirror with spots on my face deciding on the perfect tone, colour, coverage and finish. Gosh, come to think of it I must have looked like I was trying to emulate the chicken pox.. heck. Yet again, the indecisive traits of being a libra are put on show.. How unusual.  Lucky ...

Starting to feel a lil' frosty

Winter is peaking here in Sydney and a 4:30 am wake up call is nothing but COLD!! Big reflective sunglasses to cover my tired eyes and fur coats are a must! oh...... & of course a snuggle from my little chap (Montë) Happy Friday, X

Tassel Fever

I almost feel like one of those vintage bedroom door tassels… you know what I mean? But how I love every bit of it!  This piece by Alice McCall is so classical and definitely has the style staying power with its elegant lace and fitted shape.  With winter weather being present where I am, knee high boots have got to be an essential with anything at this length (Yes, I still froze a little in transit from the car to the restaurant, but hey, suck it up girl). I paired it with my grey boots from Wanted Shoes and my tiny vintage beaded bag! I can see this garment in my closet for many years to come.  With love, Little Fox

Get away shoppin'

650km north leaves me at Moonee Beach - just north of Coffs Harbour, on the far north coast, NSW. After my morning walk down to the entrance I thought I would go and check out a heard of boutique up this way. 'Nik and She' is the name and it definitely stood up to its fab expectations. You'll find a great mix of designers from the edgy and sophisticated Sass and Bide, to the floaty and bohemian Spell Byron Bay. Any who, of course I had to buy something - or should I say some things....  I bought myself a gorgeous black romper along with a stunning soft polka dot (yes im obsessed with anything with polka-dots) off the shoulder style top.     Romper: Alice McCall  Top: Sass & Bide  Love love love loooooove. Two of my favourite Australian designers.  I alway love Alice McCall, the classic flirty fabrics seem to catch my eye, and I think it could be impossible to not feel pretty in their peices. Sass and Bide oh Sass and Bi...

Feeling floral 650 km North

Hiding at the back of my wardrobe, not seen daylight in 12 months, I decided it was time to rock these little booties again. Today, I travel 650km north and feeling a little fun is indeed a must.   Floral booties: SHAKUHACHI - 2013  Old but sweet.... I can safely say shakuhachi was one of, if not the brand, that sparked my interest in fashion. How can prints be so comical, wearable and classy looking simultaneously. Seriously! That is some serious cool... It is a shame the business has since gone into liquidation, but the love for my current peices in my wardrobe will not fade. Feeling cute teamed with my polka-dot blouse, mini skirt, and vintage silk scarf. X
